My name is Kristin and I will be writing about all things beauty: beauty products I love, beauty products I’ve tried, and beauty products that aren’t even beauty products, but totally count! Now you’re thinking how do you know you can trust me? You don’t know what I look like. You don’t know anything about me. Well as someone with genetically awful skin and as someone with an embarrassingly high amount of Sephora VIB Rouge points (let’s just say I’m well over 10,000 right now) I think you can trust I know what I’m talking about.
Let’s start with our first review: Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask.

I currently look like the tin man. Or a robot. Take your pick. But as I type, my skin is being nourished and brightened and is well on its way to flawless. Estée Lauder’s newest and most popular mask (I assume as I got the last set at the Union Square Sephora) is a lot of fun. Like most sheet masks, it comes in two parts, a sheet for the forehead and eyes, and a sheet for around the mouth and chin. What’s great about this mask (and different than many other sheet masks) is that it’s idiot proof, meaning you definitely know what side goes on your face. One side is loaded with serum containing hyaluronic acid, which functions as a sort of skin tissue repair man, and the other is literally silver tin foil, hence the tin man reference.

The set is $79.00 and includes 4 masks, which you are supposed to use once a week. You are instructed to apply the mask for around 10 minutes then remove and massage the excess serum into your skin. The mask currently on my face has been there for about 20 minutes. Sue me Estée Lauder, I broke your rules, but I still intend to remove this metallic face hug and see my skin rejuvenated, moisturized and glowing. Ohhh just peeled it off and my skin feels amazing. And hey, I’ve got three more to go!
